“What can I say but Yummy!! My sister and I have been visiting the Grapevine for years. We live in Charlotte, NC and will jump in the car just to have dinner there. Mac, the owner treats us like royalty when we go, as he does with all his clientele. He greets all customers as they walk in and you can tell the employees are like his family. Every item we’ve ordered is delicious. There are nightly specials to choose from. There is a great wine selection, great ambiance, and all for a reasonable price. The Grapevine is our favorite place to eat at the beach and never miss a chance to visit. I highly recommend it. Enjoy!!”- Angela Garner, UrbanSpoon.com
“Everything about our visit to Grapevine Restaurant was great! The atmosphere is relaxed and very welcoming. We were promptly greeted upon entering by servers as well as the incredible owner! The food was delicious and the wine was as well. Our server, Matt, did an amazing job and took very good care of us. Our drinks were never empty and as soon as a dish was finished with, he removed it. We were very pleased with the service! There is nothing negative I could say about our visit. We enjoyed a great dinner with friends from out of town. The food was of great quality and reasonably priced. I highly recommend Grapevine Restaurant!!”- Heather C., Trip Advisor.com
“My husband and I were looking for a change of pace from fried seafood on our recent trip to the Ocean Isle Beach/Shallotte/Calabash area and Grapevine turned out to be our best dining experience of the trip. You won’t be sitting at a seaside table, but the food and service is superior. I had the Mediterranean Pasta, a savory bowl of tender shrimp and scallops along with sautéed veggies with a light (but deeply flavored) pesto sauce over penne. My husband had the Chicken Bob, which was deliciously marinated and tender chicken served over richly flavored rice pilaf. We saw many other customers partaking of the evening special — spaghetti and meatballs — which looked and smelled fantastic. Lots of garlic and herbs inform the cuisine at the Grapevine. We will definitely return.”- Beth B., Yelp.com
“We visited from Chicago and used TripAdvisor to help narrow the choices. The restaurant did not take reservations so we needed to wait a bit to be seated. The wait was worth it! We had 8 people in our party with each ordering something different. Everyone reported that their food was excellent. Thank you Mac (owner) for a great dinner!” – Scott E., Trip Advisor.com
“I visited and was greeted well. The drink at the bar preceded one of the best Filets I have had in a long time. It was perfect! The service was great and prices were good!”- John K., Yelp.com
“My husband and I have a second home in Sunset Beach, and this is absolutely our favorite restaurant of all of them! Mac is such a delight — they make you feel like family when you come in. Joyce behind the bar is one of the best and most efficient bar staff we have ever seen — a real pro! The food is absolutely fabulous. We have never had a bad meal. Someone in your party should always try to order the special, no matter what it is. We’ve never been disappointed. Great wine list, too. This is where the “locals” go, but you’ll soon become a “local”!”—Sandy & Ken, Dublin, OH, MyrtleBeachRestaurants.com
